This morning a visiting speaker, Elizabeth Hallett BEM spoke to us in a very entertaining way about the life of a district nurse in East Yorkshire during the last decades of the twentieth and the early part of the twenty-first centuries. It was fascinating to hear some of the stories and how much was expected of a small band of nurses. Some very funny stories too!! Thank you.
